Young Eritrean refugee Binjam lives in a container with an asylum seeker Omid from Iran. The two work as cleaning staff in a sports club where by chance Binjam's great sprinting talent gets recognized by running coach Helmut. Out of different motives both men start to work on the career of Binjam as an athlete.

 

They have to encounter resistance from society and the envious chairman of the club but yet Binjam hopes to remain in Germany through his sprinting achievements.
