FRANK MEYER accompanies a bodybuilder over a period of 10 years. - Frank's professional career lies many years back, but his life still revolves around excessive training. Eager to make a film, Frank rushes through his everyday life and introduces us to the places and people that shaped him. Only his kidney failure and regular dialysis slow him down. Under the camera's attention he begins to question his masculinity and reflects upon his violent childhood. Unable to embrace his feelings, animals become a replacement for human relationships. That’s when Frank decides to return to the competition stage, but instead he suffers a stroke, heart attack and kidney failure. Despite his limitations, he continues to train hard and hopes to eventually bounce back.
